The history of Palestine is very ancient. More recent history could be captured as if zoomed in from the First World War. By choice, however, I start from 1948, from the Nakba, the catastrophe in Arabic, the exodus of thousands of Palestinians, and the massacres it suffered from the Israeli side from that date, an Israeli side which absolutely should not be confused with all people of Jewish belief nor with the importance and necessity of the creation of a Jewish state, together with the Palestinian state, after the terrible Nazi Holocaust!

Since the 1968 uprisings I have been an active militant for a free and recognized state of Palestine also in peaceful coexistence with a Jewish state. It has always been very difficult to understand how to support the non-violent resistance of Palestine and not espouse terrorist episodes and events, also because, back then, during the Cold War, there were posters showing Christ with a rifle. During the Cold War, Italy was a huge crossroads of all international secret services and the various terrorist dramas in Italy that followed were an expression of this. The origin of them is unknown and will never be known. I am sure that there has not been a coup d’état in Italy, even if there have been attempts, due to the presence of the Vatican, a global deterrent for such an implementation. In Spain and Greece however, unfortunately, they occurred. In 1977 I organized an exhibition of drawings by Palestinian children at Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna. And, again and again, inside and outside of me, there was this militancy, being very careful not to fall into any of the influences of the superpowers.
And here it is October 7, 2023. Neither in Israel nor in Palestine has there ever been positive leadership. For a long time, furthermore, I had the clear feeling that the terrorist fringe of Palestine had been bought by the large international horizontal oligarchies. On October 7, I see a silver platter offered to the far-right Israeli government to begin the terrible massacre underway. With all the intelligence service that Israel has, connected to ALL the international oligarchies, they could only capture the terrorists, without starting this, I repeat, terrible massacre. An economic and strategic war therefore appears!
The Quiet Revolution Movement that I formed in Italy, and beyond, which organized the XVI International Forum PCA2021 in November 2022 in Borgo di Tragliata near Rome, (see on this site) invited two wonderful Palestinian Manal women from the West Bank, on the left in the beautiful photo with me, and Amal from Gaza City, on the right, at the XVII PCA International Forum held in Tangier, Morocco from 7 to 12 May 2024.

Having found out about it, to my great pain, immediately, only after ten days I had the strength asking Manal if we could talk on our channels: an hour after she arrived home in the West Bank on May 15th they arrested her son, he was hit hard and then abandoned during the night and only with the help of other boys was he able to return home.
Message received on May 15th at 11.13pm: “they arrested Samer, 17 years old from Nabi Saleh, son of Manal and Bilal Tamimi, Manal had just returned from Rome”.
